Playing at Shops was created in 2020 to provide a place for theatre artists to platform their creative work at a time when theatre and the world was creatively displaced.
We had no choice but to step back during the pandemic, which led to an energetic creative output and it felt vital to have somewhere to channel it...
And today that support continues, collaborating with theatres to sell their own merchandise and finding new creative talent.
A percentage of every sale will go towards facilitating and sourcing materials for future endeavours.
By treating yourself, your friends and family in the shop, you are also gifting support to Scottish Theatre and its wonderful freelance community.
We hope you will enjoy exploring the gifts and artworks in the collection.
